Thank you to everyone involved in this play! We attended the performance on Wednesday, March 24, with a group of our international students. They all really enjoyed the play, and many of them were very enthusiastic about the "repeat/continue" idea. The presenter also did a very good job - showing patience and encouragement for students to participate in the learning process. He was a great role model, being someone who perhaps had been an ESL student once.
Again, thanks to all of you, and we hope to see you again next year!

The Presenter and Actors in the "freeze" during performance.

Educational Theater of New York

Our Unique format of presenting theater to students of English as a Second Language.

After each scene, the actors freeze; the Presenter enters and engages the audience in conversation about the play’s characters and themes.

The audience has the opportunity to see the scene again to gain a deeper understanding or continue to the next scene.
